Professor Mamuka Chkhaidze is an internationally recognized expert in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, holding a PhD in Medicine and serving as a pivotal figure in the development of the field in Georgia. With decades of managerial and clinical excellence, he has led some of the country's most prominent medical centers and academic institutions.
Professional & Executive Leadership: Professor Chkhaidze’s distinguished career includes senior leadership roles across the healthcare sector:
● President of the Georgian Society of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.
● He has served as the General Director of the Jo Ann Medical Center, Deputy CEO of Evex Hospitals, and Medical Director of the Ivane Bokeria University Hospital.
● Currently, he serves as the Vice-Rector for Education at the Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA).
International Training & Academic Excellence: Educated and trained in world-renowned medical institutions (USA, Germany, UK, Italy, Austria), Professor Chkhaidze serves as the Director of the European Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC) Training Center (CEEA) in Tbilisi.
As an Associate Professor at Tbilisi State University and the author of fundamental medical textbooks (specializing in Sepsis management and Mechanical Ventilation), he remains at the forefront of medical science.
